Many books useful to your subject will be available electronically, these are listed along with print copies when you limit your search to the library catalogue using OneSearch. You can refine your list of results to show only e-books by selecting Available online from the Refine your results options to the left of the results screen:To access an e-book click on the Available Online link and then view full text
From the e-book homepage you have the option to either download individual chapters/sections or read the book online. The number of people able to view the book concurrently is indicated by the number of accessible copies – if no copies are available, just try again later.
Selecting Read online takes you into the book. From here you can also search the book for a particular keyword or phrase.
Some things to remember about e-books:
- Providing it’s the same edition, they are exactly the same as the print version
- Access is available both on and off campus.
